Founder
Once upon a time, there was a devoted therapist who spent her days helping others find inner peace and navigate life’s challenges. Her world took an unexpected turn when her daughter was diagnosed with a GI disorder that seriously impacted every area of her life. Her conditioned forced her to stay away from a number of common ingredients found in foods and skin care products. In an effort to improve her daughter’s condition, she examined the products they were using daily and discovered a harsh reality: many of them contained unnecessary and even harmful ingredients.
That therapist was me, Laura Cavicchi, and my daughter’s struggle ignited my burning passion for making a difference. I was angry and frustrated at the realization that so many products on the market were causing harm rather than helping. This anger motivated me to take matters into my own hands, and I began creating safe, natural, and toxin-free products for my daughter.
As I delved deeper into the world of natural skincare, I realized that the same principles of self-acceptance and healing that I practiced as a therapist could be applied to this new venture. And so, Thirsty Lotus was born—a beauty brand that nurtures the skin and the soul, born out of the love for my daughter and the desire to make a meaningful change.
Thirsty Lotus is more than a brand; it’s a community that promotes self-love, self-acceptance, and self-preservation. We believe in the power of healing through skincare and the importance of finding peace with ourselves, no matter our circumstances.
